【Taiwan Huayu BEST Program】2024 Summer Study Abroad

【Summer Study Abroad Program】
This summer (June to August), in addition to hosting high school students from Texas, NCHU collaborated with two partner schools from the Taiwan Huayu BEST Program:

Brigham Young University (BYU)

The University of Texas at Dallas (UTDallas)
to organize a summer Chinese language study tour .

Students from both universities came to NCHU, where they immersed themselves in a Mandarin-speaking environment during the whole three months.
In their free time, they also visited nearby elementary and middle schools to engage in cultural exchanges and teach English to Taiwanese students.
On weekends, they traveled to other cities across Taiwan, gaining first-hand experiences of local culture and returning with a wealth of memories.

暑期華語研習團

今年2024年暑假（6月～8月），
除了接待來自美國德州的高中生之外，
中興大學還與優華語計畫的兩所姐妹校

美國楊百翰大學 (Brigham Young University, BYU)

美國德州大學達拉斯分校 (The University of Texas at Dallas, UTDallas)
攜手合作，成功舉辦了暑期華語研習團

兩校學生來到中興大學，
平日專注於華語學習，沈浸在華語的環境中；
課餘時間他們則前往鄰近的中小學，
與臺灣學生們進行文化交流與英語教學。
到了週末，
學生們則會到台中以外各個城市旅遊，
親身體驗台灣的在地文化，
滿載而歸
