Please note that according to Taiwan's Ministry of Education regulations, students applying for visa for studying Chinese must have at least 15 hours of classes per week and attend classes continuously without interruption. If you are a recipient of the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship or the MOFA Taiwan Scholarship, you must apply for Visa for studying Chinese.
-
Each class hour is 50 minutes of instruction and 10 minutes of break.
-
Tuition does not include registration fees, textbook fees, insurance fees, etc.
-
The National Immigration Agency will grant the period of stay for students with visa for studying Chinese based on their proof of enrollment and attendance record. It is not recommended to book a return flight ticket without knowing the exact period of stay.
-
The Center does not provide dormitory accommodations. Students are responsible for securing their own housing. Please visit the website of the rental information or Taichung Rental Information Facebook Group.
-
Students who are enrolled with a non-Studying Chinese visa are required to pay a minimum of 10 weeks of tuition (NTD 25,000), even if their actual study period is less than one full term.
-
If a student is unable to extend their visa or ARC due to personal reasons, or if their application to extend a Visitor Visa or convert it to an ARC is rejected by the National Immigration Agency and the student must return to their home country, the refund will still be processed according to the refund policy. After registration and payment, if a student is unable to attend the course before the start of the term, they may apply for a refund of 90% of the tuition paid. If a refund is requested during the first or second week after the course begins, 70% of the tuition paid will be refunded. If a refund is requested during the third or fourth week after the course begins, 50% of the tuition paid will be refunded. No refunds will be issued starting from the fifth week of the course.
-
Classes will be suspended on national holidays or when the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration of the Executive Yuan announces a suspension of work and classes. In such cases, classes will not be rescheduled, and students may not request refunds or compensation. Instructors will make appropriate instructional adjustments or use alternative teaching methods to ensure that course progress is completed.
