
1. Incompleter application will not be accepted.
2. For those who fail to pass the admission application, the Center reserves the right to disclose the reasons.
3. Course materials are primarily in Chinese, with English used a a supplementary language.
4. At our Center, instructors have autonomy in designing their courses and selecting teaching methods.
If students are dissatisfied with a course, they are encouraged to communicate directly with the instructors or apply for a tuition refund.
5. Refund applications must be submitted within the first two weeks after the class starts.

6. Students who are absent for more than 40 hours during a term will not be eligible to apply for the net term and must wait six months before reapplying.
7. Students who fail the final examination are not eligible for promotion and may choose to repeat the same level.
Repeating the same level is limited to one time.
The total number of repeated levels across all levels may not exceed three times.
For example, Student A was enrolled in Level 1 in the Spring Term of 2025.
Due to failing the course, Student A repeated Level 1 in the Summer Term of 2025. Student A is not allowed to repeat Level 1 again in the Fall Term of 2025.
Otherwise, the student must transfer to another institution or return to their home country.
For example, Student B was enrolled in Level 1 in the Spring Term of 2025. Due to failing the course, Student B repeated Level 1 in the Summer Term of 2025. Student B was then promoted to Level 2 in the Fall Term of 2025, but failed and repeated Level 2 in the Winter Term of 2025. Student B was promoted to Level 3 in the Spring Term of 2026. Student B is not allowed to repeat Level 3 again in the Summer Term of 2026.
Otherwise, the student must transfer to another institution or return to their home country.
8. The Chinese Language Center is part of NCHU’s continuing education program. Students enrolled in the Center are not considered NCHU degree students and are not entitled to use university facilities such as the library or gym.
9. The Center does not provide dormitory accommodations. Students are responsible for securing their own housing.Please visit the website of the rental information or Taichung Rental Information Facebook Group.

The Center is not liable for any legal issues that may arise.
11. The Center reserves the right to arrange class schedules.
The intensive Chinese classes are primarily held in the morning, with a limited number scheduled in the afternoon.
If morning classes are full, students will be placed in afternoon classes.
12. Only new students are allowed to audit classes for placement adjustments.
Returning students are not permitted to audit classes; those who wish to change classes must pass the placement advancement test.
13.Students who violate the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan) or submit false information to the Center will be expelled from the program.

Refund Policy:
A. Only tuition fees are refundable. Registration fees are non-refundable.
B. Tuition for short term courses (up to eight weeks) is non-refundable.
C. If a student withdraws before the term begins, 90% of the tuition will be refunded.
D. If a student withdraws during the first two weeks of the term, 70% of the tuition will be refunded.
E. If a student withdraws during the third or fourth week of the term, 50% of the tuition will be refunded.
F. No refunds will be given after the fifth week of the term.
G. Refund applications must be submitted before the specified deadline; late applications will not be processed.
H. In accordance with NCHU regulations, refunds will be transferred to the bank account of the student or an immediate family member.
I. Missed classes are non-refundable and cannot be made up.
